NBA SCOREBOARD

JAZZ 98, CELTICS 86
Boston — Donovan Mitchell had 28 points and six assists, bouncing back from one of his worst performances of the season and leading the Utah Jazz to a 98-86 win over the Boston Celtics on Saturday night.
Ricky Rubio scored 20 points for Utah, which beat Boston for the second time in eight days and swept the season series. Rudy Gobert had 12 points and nine rebounds, and Derrick Favors finished with 10 points and eight boards.
Mitchell took 35 shots and did not record an assist in Friday night’s 113-107 loss at Philadelphia. He was far more efficient against Boston, going 10-for-21 from the field and 3-for-4 at the free-throw line.
Boston scored its fewest points since a 93-90 loss at Orlando on Oct. 22.
Kyrie Irving had 20 points for the Celtics, who had won two in a row. Jayson Tatum finished with 10, but no other player scored in double figures for Boston.
The Celtics were just 8 for 26 from the field in the third quarter. They had to play much of the period without Irving, who fouled Mitchell on a 3-pointer with 5:40 left. Mitchell made all three from the line to put Utah up 68-55, and then Irving picked up his fifth foul just 28 seconds later.
Irving returned in the fourth, but Boston was unable to catch up. Mitchell blocked a dunk attempt by Gordon Hayward and Utah took it the other way for an alley-oop dunk by Favors from Geoges Niang to put the Jazz up, 83-64, with 9:07 left to play.
CLIPPERS 127, NETS 118
New York — Danilo Gallinari scored 28 points, Tobias Harris had 27 and Los Angeles rallied to beat Brooklyn.
Montrezl Harrell added 16 points and 10 rebounds as Los Angeles opened a three-game trip with its fourth straight win. Fellow reserve Lou Williams finished with 16 points and five assists.
The Clippers trailed by as many as 15 points midway through the first half before charging back late in the third quarter, taking their first lead of the game with 8:21 remaining in regulation after Williams made three free throws to make it 102-101.
MAGIC 130, LAKERS 117
Orlando, Fla. — Nikola Vucevic had 36 points and 13 rebounds, D.J. Augustin added 22 points and Orlando beat Los Angeles.
Vucevic scored 24 points in the second half as Orlando led by as many as 21 and ended the Lakers’ four-game winning streak.
Evan Fournier had 15 points and Terrence Ross scored 13 for the Magic, who have won four of five.
PELICANS 125, NUGGETS 115
New Orleans — Anthony Davis scored 40 points and led New Orleans over Denver.
Davis followed up his 43-point performance in a 129-124 victory against New York on Friday night by leading a balanced scoring effort for New Orleans, which won for the fifth time in six games. Davis shot 10-for-20 from the field and converted 20 of 21 chances from the line.
Julius Randle had 21 points and 14 rebounds off the bench for the Pelicans. Nikola Mirotic had 20 points and 10 rebounds, Jrue Holiday overcame foul trouble to finish with 19 points and E’Twaun Moore added 13 points.
PACERS 97, HAWKS 89
Indianapolis — Bojan Bogdanovic scored 22 points, Darren Collison had 12 points and five assists, and Indiana beat Atlanta.
Aaron Holiday scored 12 points off the bench and Thaddeus Young had 11 points and seven rebounds for the Pacers, who played most of the game without All-Star, guard Victor Oladipo because of a sore right knee.
Reserve Jeremy Lin scored 16 points and Kent Bazemore had 13 points, five rebounds and four steals for the Hawks, who have lost seven straight.
SIXERS 122, HORNETS 119 (OT)
Charlotte, NC — Jimmy Butler knocked down a 3-pointer as time expired in overtime, and Philadelphia overcame a career-high 60 points from Kemba Walker to beat Charlotte.
Butler’s play in the final seconds was the difference.
He blocked Walker’s shot and saved the ball to a teammate with 15 seconds left, setting the stage for his winning jumper from the top of the key over Dwayne Bacon.
Joel Embiid finished with 33 points and 11 rebounds and Ben Simmons had 23 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists as the 76ers defeated the Hornets for the third time this season. Butler had 15 points in his third game with his new team.
Walker’s 60 points were the most in the NBA this season, topping Klay Thompson’s 52 against Chicago on Oct. 29.
Walker finished 21 of 34 from the field and had six 3-pointers. He made all 12 foul shots and had seven rebounds and four assists.
Walker had 37 and 30 points in his previous two games against the 76ers, but only shot a combined 33 percent. This time he was making everything, including banking in a 3-pointer to give the Hornets the lead with 44 seconds left in regulation. Walker held up his palms after the ball went it, similar to that famous gesture by Hornets owner Michael Jordan many years ago with the Bulls.
Embiid has feasted on the Hornets this season, with 42 points and 18 rebounds and 27 points and 15 rebounds in his previous two games.
JJ Redick finished with 23 points for Philadelphia, including two key jumpers in overtime.
