COLLEGE FOOTBALL WEEK 8 TV SCHEDULE AND FEARLESS PREDICTIONS

Week 8 of the college football season is here and there are four matchups between top 25 teams. NC State at Clemson is arguably the best matchup.

We’ve reached the point in the college football season where it’s time to separate the pretenders from the contenders. Fortunately, we can make those determinations on the field this week. There are four really intriguing matchups pitting two top 25 teams against one another.

The most interesting game is in the ACC where NC State will travel to Clemson in an effort to upset the Tigers. Both teams enjoyed a bye week to prepare for the showdown. Expect a raucous atmosphere in Clemson.

The SEC has a very interesting game to watch as well. LSU hosts Mississippi State in a game that could be really tricky for the Tigers. Ed Orgeron’s team is flying high after their big win against Georgia, but they can’t afford to overlook Nick Fitzgerald and company.

Even though I only picked one upset this week, I still think there are going to be a lot of tight games. In particular, I think both NC State and Mississippi State will push their respective opponents to the edge. Look for Clemson and LSU to both escape with narrow victories.

The one upset I did predict should be a very entertaining affair. Mike Leach’s offense is going to throw the ball all over the field against Oregon. The Ducks will score a lot of points too, but the Pullman crowd is going to give the Cougars a decided edge.
