PENGUINS UNSTOPPABLE ONCE AGAIN AS THEY CRUSH THE BLUES

Penguins once again look unstoppable as they cruise to another big victory as they take down the St. Louis Blues.
While The Blues are slacking in the standings, this was a team that had been playing quite good as of late. They had won two in a row, and played this game in their home arena. The Penguins went into St. Louis and pulled out the victory… easily.
But The Penguins are doing more than just winning folks, they are dominating. Pittsburgh took a four goal lead midway through the second period, and basically the game was over. Sidney Crosby again looked sensational, as he finished the game with a goal and three assists. Crosby now has eight assists in his last three games, and ultimately has been the catalyst for this powerful offense.
Letang also continues to excel in what is looking to be the best season of his career, as he would finish today’s game with a goal and two assists. He was also part of a defense that has been playing unbelievably recently, and a group that is not afraid to give up their bodies. The Penguins finished with over 20 blocked shots in the game.
Once again, Matt Murray performed exceptionally, and only allowed one goal and recorded 30 saves. Nobody could have envisioned Murray to perform as well as he has over the past two weeks, and he summarizes what has been a wild couple of weeks for the Penguins.
When you beat a team by five goals, like the Penguins did today, that is quite a statement. No matter how good a team is, they are all professionals, and the domination that the Penguins are doing to other teams right now is scary. These have not just been statement games, these have been statement weeks, and the Penguins are telling the league that they are here to be feared.
Six different players scored a goal for the Pens, and eleven guys recorded at least a point. This team is deep and they are powerful. The league will be taking notice.
