They may be the youngest but they have what it takes to make
it in WWE
In today's world of professional wrestling or sports
entertainment, there are more than a handful of superstars that began
their WWE career
at a very age. WWE veterans like Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar captured their
first world championship gold at a very young age and they went on to win
multiple championships later in their careers. Even though many young wrestlers
are still competing in the WWE Performance Centre and NXT, they are yet to make
an impact on the main roster.
There is no specific age to start out as a professional
wrestler. There are superstars who began their careers between the ages of
16-18 and others started out as young as the age of 13 years old. As more
wrestlers make it to the WWE, they look to make their mark in the biggest
professional wrestling and sports entertainment company in the entire world.
The following is a list of the youngest superstars in WWE right now and it only
consists of superstars on the main roster, mainly Raw, Smackdown Live and 205
Live.
Here are the youngest WWE superstars on the main roster as
of November 5th 2018.
#7. ALEXA BLISS (27
YEARS OLD)
Alexa Bliss is one of the most decorated female superstars
in the WWE. She has managed to accomplish what many could only dream of. At the
young age of just 27 years old, Bliss has already made history by becoming the
first person to win the Smackdown and Raw Women's Championship on two separate
occasions.
She held the titles several times each, making her a 5-time
women's champion. She also won the 2018 Women's Money in the Bank contract.
Bliss is also one of the most talented in-ring performers in the company and is
exceptional on the mic.
She is not the only female superstar currently aged 27,
though, as she shares the same age as other performers like Ruby Riott and
Mandy Rose. Little Miss Bliss still has many more years left
in her and she'll be around for a very long time. She is an example of an
experiment that became a great success.
#6. SASHA BANKS
(26 YEARS OLD)
Sasha Banks is one of the most talented and underrated
superstars in the WWE today. She signed with the company in 2012 and was sent
to NXT where she captured the NXT Women's Championship. Banks
quickly established herself as one of the most popular performers with the WWE
Universe and was cheered whether she played a heel or villain. .
The Boss has gone on to make history in the WWE on several
occasions- her match against Bayley at TakeOver: Respect in 2015 was
the first women's match to ever headline a major WWE event, and she
was also involved in the first-ever women's Iron Man match in WWE history.
At Hell in a Cell 2016, she and Charlotte Flair became the first
women to main event a WWE pay per view and they were first female
superstars to compete inside the demonic structure.
Banks has done so much at such a young age. She shares her
age with current Smackdown Live GM Paige, who unfortunately did not make this
list because she is no longer active in the ring.
#5. SONYA DEVILLE
(25 YEARS OLD)
Sonya Deville is a former mix martial artist and contestant
in the 2015 season of WWE Tough Enough, where she came in eleventh. In
October 2015, she signed a contract with WWE and was assigned to their
Performance Center. She then joined NXT in 2015, though; she
failed to have a very memorable run. Her most notable appearance came when she
competed in a six-woman tag team match along with Mandy Rose,
and Alexa Bliss, in which they were defeated by Carmella, Liv
Morgan, and Nikki Cross.
She made her main roster debut on Raw in late 2017,
alongside Paige and Mandy Rose as they attacked Sasha
Banks, Bayley, Mickie James, and Alexa Bliss, as a part of the
stable, Absolution.
During the 2018 WWE Superstar Shake-up, Deville and
Rose were drafted to SmackDown Live where they are currently competing. She
also competed in a battle royal at the first-ever all-women PPV WWE Evolution.
#4. SARAH LOGAN (25
YEARS OLD)
Sarah Logan was one of the first four participants competing
in the inaugural Mae Young Classic tournament. Logan was eliminated in the
first round by Mia Yim. Despite being eliminated from the tournament, she
later teamed up with other eliminated competitors in a six-woman tag
team among them Marti Belle and Santana Garrett being
defeated by Tessa Blanchard, Jazzy Gabert and Kay Lee Ray.
Logan made her main roster debut on WWE Smackdown Live in
November 2017 along with Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan as part of
The Riott Squad, by attacking both Becky Lynch and Naomi. On the
same night, they interrupted a match between then SmackDown Women's
Champion Charlotte Flair and Natalya and attacked them both.
Logan recently competed alongside her Riott Squad team-mates
against Natalya, Sasha Banks, and Bayley, ultimately coming up short. One has
to wonder what the future holds for Sarah Logan.
#3. NOAM DAR (25
YEARS OLD)
Noam Dar joined WWE as part of the "Cruiserweight
Classics" in 2016, securing his place by defeating Josh Bodom in a
tournament qualifier match held in London. In the tournament itself, Dar would
then go on to defeat Gurv Sihra and Ho Ho Lun in the first two rounds
before being eliminated in the quarterfinals by Zack Sabre Jr.
During the Cruiserweight Classic finale, he teamed up
with former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander in a losing
effort against current NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano, who
were known as DIY.
In 2018's WWE's United Kingdom Championship
Tournament, Noam Dar returned to action in a fatal-four way match,
defeating Flash Morgan Webster, Mark Andrews and Travis
Banks to become the number one contender for the WWE United Kingdom
Championship. Dar is currently competing as a face on 205 Live.
#2. LIV MORGAN (24
YEARS OLD)
Current Raw Superstar, Liv Morgan makes the list as the
youngest female WWE Superstar currently competing on the main roster. After
making a name for herself on WWE NXT, Morgan made her main roster debut on the
November 21st edition of SmackDown Live as a heel alongside Ruby Riott and
Sarah Logan as The Riott Squad. They laid waste to then SmackDown Women's
Champion Charlotte, Natalya, Becky Lynch and Naomi.
Liv was drafted to Raw following the Superstar Shake-up
along with the other two members of The Riott Squad, where they are currently
making a name for themselves on WWE’s flagship show.
Liv certainly has a lot of in-ring talent and even though
she did not accomplish much in NXT, there’s no doubt that she might receive a
shot at the Raw Women’s Championship in the future. It’s only left to see what
the company has in store for her and if she will receive a singles push later
on in her wrestling career.
#1. LIO RUSH (23
YEARS OLD)
Lio Rush made his first televised appearance on an episode
of WWE NXT in October 2017 where he was attacked by The
Velveteen Dream. However, Rush then made a joke
on Twitter about Emma following her release from WWE, which
resulted in heavy criticism from both NXT and main roster wrestlers and led him
to issue an apology.
The tweet resulted in Rush being pulled from all NXT events
until November 30. Rush moved to the cruiserweight division and after weeks of
vignettes, he made his in-ring and televised debut as a heel on 205 Live in
June this year. He later started a feud with Akira Tozawa and picked
up a win over the former Cruiserweight Champion.
Lio Rush currently serves as the manager of former ECW
Champion Bobby Lashley on Raw. At the current age of just 23 years old, Rush is
currently the youngest superstar on the main roster in WWE.
